Description of First Stitches Embroidery Kit Bundle of 3

Embrace the mindful hobby of embroidery with a coordinated bundle of 3 all-in-one kits.

With the kits in First Stitches, you can start a hand embroidery practice or get back to one after years away. These designs give you a few easy stitches to start with and then progressively add in manageable complexity.

Quality materials include: patterns color-printed to cotton fabric, full skeins of DMC-brand floss, hoops, and needles. You also get handy extras: a hinged storage tin and an enamel needle minder with each of the 3 kits.

Experienced needle crafters enjoy working a range of stitches, while those new to embroidery use the illustrated project guide to master a comfort craft suited to all generations.

KITS IN THIS BUNDLE

Patchwork

The variety of stitches in "Patchwork" are a big part of the design's charm. You'll embroider a quilt-inspired patchwork of pattern and color. As you piece together stars and blossoms, waves and a honeycomb, you'll also be mastering classic embroidery stitches. The finished hoop-art looks great on display year-round and makes a wonderful gift for creatives and pattern lovers in your life.

Start with Coffee

Start with Coffee is an easy and fun kit to embroider for any one who loves a cup of joe and the beginning of a new day. You'll render the featured saying with three different stitches to go with the three different font treatments. Other details include rays of a sunrise weaving through the motifs along with a partial doily edging that evokes the sense of a coffee filter. It's an engaging project with a variety of traditional hand embroidery stitches.

Hen & Fox

The imagery on "Hen & Fox" has you rendering farm motifs in a variety of classic embroidery stitches--which makes this an absorbing and satisfying project. Barn, silo, and windmill create a perfect backdrop for the folk-art hen and fox. You'll love stitching all the areas of this design and putting it on display when it's complete.

A delight

Returning to embroidery after 15 years of caregiving I knew a refresher would be a smart way to start again. These pieces were pure delight. I did them with no idea of displaying them but to refresh my skills to do something “important “. They are so fun and refreshing they are now displayed and turned out to be “important “ themselves. They delight everyone who sees them.

Beautiful, vibrant pattern. Well-written instructions, excellent packaging.
Excellent for a first-time stitcher. No left-handed instructions though...my only gripe.
