Description of Stick & Stitch Motifs: Bunnies

Add embroidery to your own fabric projects--from tea towels to tote bags, home decor and clothing. This set is great for Spring and Easter.

NOTE: This is a pattern printed to sticky-backed washaway fabric. You'll supply fabric base, hoop, needle and floss. See our all-in-one complete kits here.

This pack includes 4 patterned-filled bunnies. Each bunnies is 4.5" wide--big enough to create a small stuffed rabbit. The patterns are printed on 8.5" x 11" sticky-backed wash-away fabric.

HOW IT WORKS:

Cut out the design you'd like to use leaving a narrow border. Peel the the backing and adhere to fabric. Embroider over the pattern and your original item. When you're done, soak briefly in warm water to wash away the water-soluble fabric and you're left with an embroidered design on your clothing or linens.

INCLUDED:

> 8.5" x 11" sheet of sticky-backed water-soluble fabric printed with 4 bunnies. They're printed in color but you can choose your own floss colors since the patterns will wash away.

> Suggested stitching instructions included illustrated stitching guide to 12 classic embroidery stitches.

I found the stick on transfer difficult to sew through. Then when I soaked it ,half of the stitches came loose requiring removing it all and doing it again.

Hi, Diane, The Stick and Stitch format is one Ive also had a hard time getting used to, and that's why most of our patterns are printed to fabric. There are many who love this format and being able to stitch on their fabric of choice. While it's harder to stitch through, this is the first I'm hearing of all the stitches coming out. I soak the finished piece for an hour in warm water and then run under gentle water with stitched side down. If pattern fabric still remains, I rub very gently.. Finally I dry overnight and then use a halr dryer to fit the stitches back up. I hope this helps.
